Various sound art projects

by Martin Smidt

The compositional language and techniques in Martin Smidt’s 35 full-length compositions for the performing arts typically consist of a combination of sound art and musical elements and parameters. The emphasis on sound art versus music may vary from one production to another. This album presents selected various excerpts from compositions in which the sound art component plays a central role.
